ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades rebounded from losing to the Savannah Ghost Pirates on Wednesday night by winning 5-3 in front of 5,701 fans at Hertz Arena on Friday.

The Everblades turned their play around with improved puck management and defensive play. Everblades forward Bobo Carpenter (15) scored twice, including an empty net goal from the red line, and forward/defenseman Nathan Staois took the night’s top star with his one goal. Game three of the five-game series is Saturday at 7 p.m. at Hertz Arena; the teams will take a break for the All-Star Game before playing the last two games in the series in Savannah.
