
ORLANDO, Fla. – Sunday afternoon, the Orlando Solar Bears took on the visiting Savannah Ghost Pirates for their Hockey Fights Cancer game. Orlando walked away with an overtime shoot out win with a score of 2-1. After the game retired figure skater and Olympic gold medalist, Scott Hamilton along with local figure skating clubs put on a figure skating show to help raise money for cancer research. The Solar Bears and the Scott Hamilton foundation helped raise over $45,000 to help with cancer research.
