NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Admirals welcomed the South Carolina Stingrays to the Scope Arena for a two-game series on Friday night.

The game started out with a first period that didn’t have a lot of offense. The Admirals lead 1-0 after a power play goal by Kamerin Naul. There were only 10 shots on goal combined during the period, with the Admirals outshooting the Stingrays 7-3.

South Carolina got going in the second period outshooting Norfolk 16-7. They were only able to tally one goal to tie the game at one apiece.

The third period started quick, with the Admirals scoring in the first minute of the period. The rest of the game was fairly even, with the Stingrays evening the score to make it 2-2. Conner Fedorek netted the game winner for the Admirals, to give them a 3-2 victory over South Carolina.
