ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Rochester Americans put in another dominant performance this past Friday against the Syracuse Crunch. This was another specialty jersey night for the Amerks, wearing their “Roc The Riverway” jerseys and accompanying socks. These jerseys are being auctioned off to support Camp Aspire, a camp for children living with diabetes. The Amerks again played well in their new threads, winning 4-1 against the Crunch.

Isak Rosen continued his all star season, opening up the scoring a few minutes into the game. Ty Tullio put another one a few minutes later – his first of the season after being on the injury list for weeks. A couple minutes after that, Brett Murray also continued his all star season, scoring on the power play. Syracuse decided to give their goaltender Brandon Halverson off the rest of the night and put Ryan Fanti in between the pipes.

A calm second period only saw one goal from the Crunch, coming from Dylan Duke.

In the third, the Amerks were able to kill off a couple penalties, and held onto the lead. Rosen found the back of the net on an empty net and sealed the deal.

Devon Levi, another all star, got the win for the Amerks and stopped 27 of 28 shots faced. Halverson would finish his night stopping two of five shots faced, and Fanti stopped all 17 shots faced for the Crunch.
