CINCINNATI, Ohio. – The Cincinnati Cyclones obtained an important victory over the Toledo Walleye Wednesday night, to help with their chances of reaching the playoffs this season. After 38 minutes of gameplay, the Cyclones had a commanding 4-1 lead, outshooting Toledo 21-13. Before the end of the second period, Carson Bantle got one back for Toledo, cutting the goal difference by two.

The third period belonged to the Walleye, outshooting the home team 18-4. Mitchell Lewandowski scored Walleye’s third goal at 4:21 in the third. An empty netter by Braeden Kressler sealed the win for Cincinnati, despite Toledo scoring again with 22 seconds left in the game.

Cincinnati’s Justin Vaive was the #1 Star, with one goal and two assists.
