CINCINNATI, Ohio – Friday night, the visiting Toledo Walleye defeated the Cincinnati Cyclones 4-3 in overtime at Heritage Bank Center in downtown Cincinnati. Brendon Michaelian opened the scoreboard for Toledo nine minutes into the first period. The walleye made it 2-0 via Mitchell Lewandowski just over a minute later.

Remy Parker cut the lead in half in a 5-on-3 power-play goal halfway through the first period, his seventh goal of the season, with Josh Burnside picking up the assist. After a scoreless second period, Dante Sheriff tied the game up at two at 2:20 in the third period. With less than four minutes left in the game, Toledo regained the lead when Colby Ambrosio scored his first professional goal. The Cyclones did not give up and scored the game-tying goal with 1:02 left in the clock when Chris Dodero beat Toledo’s goaltender Carter Gylander to send the game into OT.

Sam Craggs scored the winning goal for the Walleye 24 seconds in OT.
