WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester Railers hosted the Trois-Rivières Lions on Saturday evening at the DCU Center for their annual Military Appreciation game. In front of a packed house full of Military veterans and Railers fans, all would be treated to one of the best Railers comeback victories in team history. With the Railers down 4-1 with just 7:11 left in the third period, Worcester would score three goals to send the game to overtime, where Justin Gill would complete his hat trick and score the overtime game-winner, giving the Railers a 5-4 victory over the Lions. Anthony Repaci got the Railers to within two goals of the Lions at the 15:16 mark of the third period. Worcester’s Matt Demelis would score the game-tying goal with just under three minutes to play in regulation.
