WORCESTER, Mass. – The Trois-Rivières Lions roared into the DCU Center in Worcester on Friday night to play the Worcester Railers for the first of a two game set. The Lions were coming in with the second best winning percentage in the ECHL at a .763 rank. Although the Railers played a hard fought game, the final score would be 5-3, with the Trois-Rivières Lions getting an empty net goal to seal the win. The game for the Railers would be highlighted by a Gordie Howe hat-trick by the Railers Jordan Kaplan, a first career goal by Cam McDonald, and what might be one of the best scraps at the DCU in a while, between Worcester’s Kolby Johnson and the Lions Mathieu Boislard.
