CINCINNATI, Ohio – Wednesday night, the Cincinnati Cyclones defeated the visiting Utah Grizzlies 3-1 at the Heritage Bank Center in downtown Cincinnati. A quick goal by Chas Sharpe, 2:40 into the first period, gave the Cyclones the early lead. Marko Sikic made it 2-0 for the Cyclones less than two minutes before the first intermission.

Cincinnati extended the lead when  Lincoln Griffin scored his 11th goal of the season, assisted by Braeden Kressler and Ty Voit. Utah got one back by Derek Daschke at the end of the second period, and after a scoreless third period the Cincinnati Cyclones won their sixth of the last seven games.
