GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – Sunday afternoon in the third of a three game series, Wheeling Nailers and the Adirondack Thunder met for the last time in the regular season. Currently, Adirondack sit at the bottom of the North Division, with post season games looking unlikely.
There was no scoring during either the first two periods in this matchup, and the first goal of the game wouldn’t come until more than halfway through the third period. Tempers flared towards the end of the game with multiple fights breaking out at the same time and penalties dolled out left, right and center. The Thunder won the game, with a final score of 2-0, giving Jeremy Brodeur his second straight shutout.
