WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester Railers hosted the Wheeling Nailers at the DCU Center in Worcester on Saturday for a Star Wars themed-evening for the fans. The two teams would alternate goals throughout the first two periods, tied at 3-3 heading to the third period. Anthony Callin would get his second goal of the game 8:56 into the third period giving the Railers a 4-3 lead, and the game winning goal over the Wheeling Nailers. Anthony Repaci would open the scoring just 1:00 into the first period, and the Nailers Matt Koopman would tie the game at the 5:39 mark. The second period would see goals from Worcester’s Riley Ginnell and Anthony Callin, and from the Nailers Altey Calvert and Chris Ortiz. Worcester goaltender Michael Bullion would pick up the win with 29 saves, Wheeling Nailers goaltender Sergei Murashov ended the night with 19 saves on 23 shots by Worcester.
