ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Lehigh Valley Phantoms hosted the Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton Penguins for a Friday night matchup. The Penguins started the night early, scoring at 5:53 and again at 13:49 in the first period. This didn’t discourage the Phantoms, who started off the second period by scoring back-to-back goals at 1:29 and 2:15 to even up the score. After another Penguins goal, that wasn’t all for the Phantoms scoring during the second period, as they scored back-to-back goals again at 14:03 and 14:39. The Phantoms scored again in the third period with an empty net goal at 17:18, to beat the Penguins 5-3.
