
Michael Eyssimont was born on September 9, 1996, in Littleton, Colorado. The left-shot forward was a standout with the Colorado Thunderbirds as a young player and totaled 91 points in 40 games during the 2012-13 season. During the 2012 United States Hockey League draft, Eyssimont was chosen in the seventh round with the 98th overall pick by the Fargo Force. In his first full season with Fargo, Eyssimont scored 14 goals and collected 16 assists in 64 games. During the 2014-15 season, the 6-foot, 190-pound winger scored 17 goals with 19 assists in 46 games before being traded to the Sioux Falls Stampede, where he finished the year with five goals and eight assists in 14 regular-season games and seven goals and nine assists in 12 postseason contests.
Before the 2015-16 season, Eyssimont committed to St. Cloud State University to begin his collegiate hockey career. His freshman season, Eyssimont tallied 14 goals and 19 assists in 40 games. Eyssimont would play two more campaigns for St. Cloud State and total 31 goals and 38 assists in 75 games.

The Los Angeles Kings drafted Michael Eyssimont with the 142nd selection in the fifth round of the 2016 NHL Draft. On March 18, 2018, Eyssimont signed a two-year, entry-level contract worth $1.85 million and joined the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League.
Michael Eyssimont’s NHL Debut to Today
Eyssimont spent three seasons with the Reign before signing with the Winnipeg Jets as a free agent on July 28, 2021. The forward made his NHL debut with the Jets on April 11, 2022, against the Montreal Canadiens, playing 12 shifts in 5:49 of ice time. That was the only NHL game for Eyssimont that season as he played 58 games with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL, scoring 18 goals and collecting 24 assists.
On January 6, 2023, the San Jose Sharks selected Eyssimont off waivers. Eyssimont suited up for the Sharks for 20 games and registered three goals and five assists. Two months later, the winger was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning for Vladislav Namestnikov. With the Bolts that season, Eyssimont tallied one goal and one assist in 15 games. Eyssimont would play 138 more regular season games with Tampa Bay before being traded to the Seattle Kraken on March 6, 2025. Eyssimont scored four goals with two assists in 20 games with Seattle.
On July 1, 2025, Michael Eyssimont signed a two-year, $2.9 million contract with the Boston Bruins.
