
Tanner Jeannot was born on May 29, 1997, in Estevan, Saskatchewan. The left-shooting forward played for three seasons with the Estevan Bruins from 2010-13. In his first two seasons with the U15 club, Jeannot scored 29 goals and collected 18 assists in 42 games and five goals and three assists in ten postseason games. Jeannot spent the 2012-13 season with the U18 team and registered 15 goals and nine assists in 32 games. The following season was spent with the Yorkton Harvest U18 team, where the 6-foot-2, 220-pound winger tallied 15 goals and 21 assists in 44 games.
Jeannot joined the Moose Jaw Warriors of the Western Hockey League for the 2014-15 season and scored one goal with four assists in 52 games. From there, Jeannot flourished with 17 goals the next season, 19 tallies the year after that, and then 40 goals as an assistant captain during the 2017-18 season.
The Nashville Predators Sign Tanner Jeannot To a Three-Year Contract
Jeannot signed a three-year, $2.14 million contract with the Nashville Predators as a free agent on April 2, 2018, and spent the next two seasons with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. Jeannot collected a total of 12 goals and 19 assists in 94 games with a combined 126 penalty minutes.
NHL Debut to Today
On March 2, 2021, Jeannot made his NHL debut with the Predators against the Carolina Hurricanes and played 6:28 of ice time. The rugged forward scored his first NHL goal on April 13, 2021, against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The next season, Jeannot posted career-highs in goals with 24 and assists with 17. On February 26, 2023, Jeannot was traded to the Lightning and then re-signed with Tampa Bay for two years. On June 29, 2024, the Lightning dealt Jeannot to the Los Angeles Kings, where he would register seven goals and six assists in 67 games. On July 1, 2025, Tanner Jeannot signed a five-year contract with an annual average value of $3.4 million with the Boston Bruins.
