Woll has played in one preseason game entering tonight he has stopped 20 of the 23 shots he’s faced. Stolarz has played in three games as well one against the Red Wings the other night in which he stopped all 30 shots he faced. In his other two games he stopped 24 of the 26 shots he faced.

Players To Watch

2023-24 stats

Detroit: Austin Watson (2-2-4)

Watson doesn’t light up the score sheet but he’s been fun to watch this preseason with his physical presence. In three games he has a point on an assists, he is a plus two with 15 hits and 27 penalty minutes.

Toronto: Auston Matthews (69-38-107)

It’s hard to not pick Matthews, whenever he is on the ice he’s a gamechanger. Last season in 81 games he had 107 points on 69 goals and 38 assists. This preseason he has played in just one game recording one point on a goal and is a plus one.
