Nashville: Juuse Saros (1-0-0, 0.00 GAA) / Scott Wedgewood (0-1-0, 6.80 GAA)

Saros made his preseason debut on Saturday and he would stop all 23 shots he faced. Last season, in 64 games he went 35-24-5 with a 2.86 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage. Wedgewood has appeared in one game and struggled as he allowed six goals on 23 shots. Last season, he went 16-7-5 with a 2.85 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage.

Carolina: Spencer Martin (0-0-1, 4.79 GAA) / Yaniv Perets (0-0-0, 0.00 GAA)

Martin played on Saturday and would stop 24 of the 29 shots he faced suffering the loss in overtime. Last season, Martin in six games with Carolina went 4-1-1 with a 2.63 goals-against average and a .896 save percentage. Perets has been the backup in two games but has yet to play this preseason. Last season, he played in one game stopping the lone shot he faced in 13 minutes. In the ECHL he appeared in 34 games going 18-11-3 with a 2.99 goals against average and a .889 save percentage; in the playoffs, in ten games he went 5-4-1 with a 3.04 goals against average and an .888 save percentage.

Marchessault has wasted no time with his new team, having made his debut on Saturday in a 6-0 win he finished with three points on a goal and two assists, he was a plus three and finished with two shots and a hit. Last season, in 82 games he finished with 69 points on 42 goals and 27 assists.

Carolina: Jack Drury (1-1-2)

Drury this preseason in two games has recorded two points with a goal and an assist, he has been a plus-three and has recorded nine shots on goal. Last season, in 74 games he had 27 points on eight goals and 19 assists.
