PWHL Boston at the IIHF Women’s World Championship

Excitement Building For 2024 IIHF Women’s World Championship- NY Hockey Online

We have arrived at the PWHL international break; from April 3rd to the 14th, the 2024 IIHF Women’s World Championship will be played. This is a global tournament that consists of the best players around the world. Below are all the PWHL Boston players that will represent their country during this time.

Boston forward and alternate captain Jamie Lee Rattray will represent Team Canada. She is a two-time world champion (1 with U18 Team Canada) and played during the 2022 Olympics, helping Canada win the gold medal.

Boston forward Alina Müller will represent Team Switzerland. She scored the game-winning goal for Switzerland in the bronze medal game at the 2014 Olympics, becoming the youngest ice hockey player to ever win an Olympic medal. She is the only PWHL player on the roster for Switzerland.

Boston forward Susanna Tapani will represent Team Finland. She ranks sixth in all-time points for Team Finland (75-72-147) in 179 matches.

Boston goaltender Emma Söderberg will represent Team Sweden. She played in the 2023 IIHF Women’s World Championship and recorded a 2.58 GAA and a .924 save percentage in five games.

Boston forward and captain Hilary Knight will represent Team USA. She is a 9-time world champion, and she helped Team USA win gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Boston defender and alternate captain Megan Keller will represent Team USA. She is a five-time world champion and helped Team USA win gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Boston goaltender Aerin Frankel will represent Team USA. She played in the 2023 IIHF Women’s World Championship and she recorded a 5-0-1 record a 1.48 GAA and a .931 save percentage in six games and helped Team USA win gold that year.
