The Boston Fleet fell short in Boston for the second time this season, losing both of their games at Agganis. Toronto was trailing for most of the game but took advantage of messy Boston penalties to complete the comeback and eventually take over the game.

Boston captain Hilary Knight opened the scoring late in the first period. Her goal was the only goal of the game until the third period.

Daryl Watts tied the game at 4:07 in the third period, and within two minutes, Hayley Scammura scored her first goal of the season to give Toronto the one-goal lead. Renata Fast found the back of the net, and quickly, it was a 3-1 game, Toronto with the two-goal lead.

Hilary Knight scored her second of the game to cut Toronto’s lead to one goal, shortly after Daryl Watts scored her second to put this one away. Boston’s 9-game point streak was snapped, and it finished the way it started, at the hands of Toronto.

Final Notes
