PWHL New Teams Names

The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) is set to unveil their team names, marking an exciting new chapter for the league after a successful inaugural season. With a competitive debut that showcased the talent and determination of top women hockey players from around the world, the PWHL quickly became a focal point for the growth of the sport. Fans were treated to high-paced action, intense rivalries, and rising stars, all while the league continued to build a strong foundation for women’s professional hockey. Now, as anticipation builds, the league is proud to introduce the official names of its six teams, setting the stage for a legacy of excellence on and off the ice. Here are the team names for the upcoming season:

PWHL Toronto – Toronto Sceptres

  • Home Arena: Coca-Cola Coliseum

PWHL Ottawa – Ottawa Charge

  • Head Coach: Carla MacLeod – Captain: Brianne Jenner
  • Home Arena: TD Place Arena

PWHL New York – New York Sirens

  • Head Coach: Greg Fargo – Captain: Micah Zandee-Hart
  • Home Arena: Total Mortgage Arena/ UBS Arena

PWHL Minnesota – Minnesota Frost

  • Head Coach: Ken Klee – Captain: Kendall Coyne Schofield

PWHL Montreal – Victoire de Montreal
