Ryan Reaves Signs Deal With Toronto Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Ryan Reaves have agreed to a three-year contract on July 1st, 2023. The 36-year-old Reaves has been as consistent as you can ask in his role as enforcer. Reaves most recently split the 2022-23 season between the New York Rangers (12 games) and Minnesota Wild (61 games), where he saw all of his point production happen in Minnesota. Reaves posted five goals and ten assists for 15 points in 61 games in his campaign.

Reaves consistent 13 to 15 points per season pace netted him a three-year deal worth $1.35 million annually with the Toronto Maple Leafs. New Leafs general manager Brad Treliving reportedly had Reaves really high on his priority signing list.

Reaves debuted for the St. Louis Blues in the 2010-11 season and has never looked back in his enforcer role in the National Hockey League. Since Reaves’s NHL debut, he has played 828 games scoring 59 goals and 70 assists for 129 points; Reaves also has 1023 career penalty minutes.
