Sam Reinhart Leaves Game Two of Eastern Conference Finals

The Florida Panthers lead the Eastern Conference Finals 1-0 over the Carolina Hurricanes entering game two tonight. The Panthers currently lead 3-0 in the second period on goals from Matthew Tkachuk, Sam Bennett, and Gustav Forsling. The Panthers will be playing the rest of the game without their third points leader as Sam Reinhart has left the game with a lower-body injury. Reinhart has 11 points entering tonight’s game on four goals and seven assists. He is a plus-four in the playoffs. In this series he’s a plus-one. He had one hit in tonight’s game before exiting.

He finished ninth in the Calder Memorial Trophy voting in his rookie season in 2015-16. Reinhart finished fourth in Selke voting that season. He won the Stanley Cup with the Panthers last season as he looks to do it again this season.
