The San Jose Sharks and New Jersey Devils traded this afternoon, swapping a forward from the AHL level. The San Jose Sharks Sharks traded forward Thomas Bordeleau to the New Jersey Devils Devils for forward Shane Bowers. Bordeleau, in 59 games for the San Jose Barracuda, had 38 points on 14 goals and 24 assists. In his lone game with the Sharks, he didn’t record a point. Bowers, in 65 games for the Utica Comets, recorded 17 points on three goals and 14 assists. He didn’t record a point in four games with New Jersey this season.

Thomas Bordeleau

The Sharks drafted Bordeleau 38th overall in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. In 161 AHL games, he recorded 107 points on 47 goals and 60 assists. He was a -28 in that time with 89 penalty minutes, 17 power-play goals, and four game-winning goals. In 44 games with the Sharks, he recorded 18 points on six goals and 12 assists. He was a -22 with eight power-play points 

Shane Bowers 

Bowers in 282 AHL games has recorded 97 points on 44 goals and 53 assists. He is a -37 with five power-play goals and six game-winning goals. In 13 career NHL games, he’s been held pointless. Bowers has spent time with the Colorado Avalanche as well as the Devils.
