Sean Durzi Traded to the Arizona Coyotes

The fireworks of the NHL’s 2023 offseason have started to kick off. The news of the Arizona Coyotes looking to become more competitive has gone into full swing with their newest acquisition Sean Durzi. Sean Durzi was traded to the Arizona Coyotes for a 2024 second-round pick, this second-round pick originally belonged to Montreal.

While the Los Angeles Kings look to clear cap space, Sean Durzi became the most recent player in LA to find himself traded. Durzi, who most recently played 72 games in the 2022-23 season, posted nine goals and 29 assists for 38 points. The 2022-23 season was also Durzi’s first as a full-time NHLer. Durzi is in the final year of his two-year contract worth $1.7 million annually. Durzi will be a restricted free agent with arbitration rights at the end of his current contract.
