Sidney Crosby Misses Practice, Being Evaluted for an Upper-Body Injury

The Pittsburgh Penguins suffered a 3-2 shootout loss to the New Jersey Devils last night. They will return on Friday against the New York Rangers. Despite the loss on Tuesday, they may have suffered a bigger loss as Sidney Crosby missed practice today. In the third period of last night’s game, Sidney Crosby had his left arm awkwardly caught between Luke Hughes and Erik Haula for the Devils as Haula was finishing a hit on Crosby. Crosby went down in pain and went straight to the locker room. He would return after missing a few shifts. Following the game he said he just got tangled up. The Penguins are already without Evgeni Malkin and now potentially Crosby. Penguins Head Coach Mike Sullivan said he didn’t have any specific and once he does he’ll let everyone know.
