Billy Jerry, center for the Macon Mayhem, announced that he will head overseas to play for EV Füssen for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Jerry, originally from River Falls, Wisconsin, had played Junior Hockey for the Madison Capitols in Appleton, Wisconsin. Jerry then played three years of college hockey at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, scoring ten goals during his time there. He finished his collegiate career at Long Island University with 14 goals and 31 points in 34 games and was the team’s top scorer that season. He then went on to serve as the team’s captain. Notably, Jerry scored all four goals in Long Island’s 4-3 win over Brown University on January 30, 2022, including the game-winner with 11 seconds remaining.

After college, Jerry signed with the Adirondack Thunder where he scored two goals in a 6-4 win over Worcester on April 10, 2022. In all he played for the Thunder for 15 games in the 2021-22 season, earning nine points (4g, 5a). He was selected by the New Jersey Devils to participate in the 2022 Prospects Challenge and later went to training camp with the Utica Comets (AHL) for the 2022-23 season.

After being released by Adirondack in December 2022, Jerry joined the Worcester Railers where he would contribute four goals goals and added five assists for nine points after 39 games. In October 2023, Jerry signed with the Fayetteville Marksmen (SPHL), where he achieved three goals and six assists, totaling nine points in 18 games. In December of that same year, the Macon Mayhem traded for Jerry from the Marksmen, exchanging him for Tim Faulkner. While with the Mayhem, Jerry earned 23 points after tallying 13 goals and 10 assists after 36 games with the team.
