SPHL: Brad Jenion Returning to Macon Mayhem for 2024-25 Season

The signing of Brad Jenion for the upcoming season was confirmed by the team earlier today. Jenion, a defenseman recognized for his physical gameplay, is set to make a comeback to the Macon Mayhem team for his second season in the SPHL. Hailing from Macclesfield, Great Britain, he has been playing hockey in North American since 2014 and currently remains the only British player on a SPHL roster.

Before embarking on his professional journey with the Mayhem, Jenion attended Trine University, where he also held the role of captain in his senior year. His performance earned him a spot on the NCHA’s All-Freshman Team at the conclusion of his 2019-20 season with the team after earning seven goals and one assist in 27 games that season. During his four season there, he tallied a total of 11 goals, 13 assists, and 152 penalty minutes in 82 games.

During the 2023-24 season with the Mayhem, his first as a professional, he played in 43 games, scoring one goal and providing 11 assists, totaling 12 points. He is set to hit the ice with Josh Boyko, Michael McChesney, and Jarret Kup as the Macon Mayhem launch their season at Macon Coliseum on October 19, facing off against the Birmingham Bulls at home.
