SPHL: Macon Mayhem Announce 2024-25 Theme Nights

The Macon Mayhem recently unveiled their comprehensive promotional schedule for the 2024-25 season. The schedule includes themed nights for all 28 home games at the Macon Centreplex, starting with the season opener on October 19.

Here are some highlights:

October

The season starts on October 19th, but the Mayhem will start off with College Night on the 25th against the Fayetteville Marksmen, providing fans an opportunity to display their collegiate spirit.

November

In November, fans can anticipate “Pack The Plex” Night against the Fayetteville Marksmen and the first Salute to Service event on the 24th against the Knoxville Ice Bears. Throughout the season, the Mayhem will host three Salute to Service games, each dedicated to recognizing community heroes: military service members, firefighters, police officers, and EMS professionals.

The Mayhem then dive into time-travel mode with a blast to the past on Dinosaur Night, roaring into action on the 29th against the Pensacola Ice Flyers.

December

December swoops in with the festive energy of “The Grinch Stole Hockey” a gaming night extravaganza with Video Game Night, a sprinkle of Disney enchantment with Disney night, and a dazzling New Year’s celebration to close out the year with a slapshot of fun!

January

January kicks off with a bang as Wizardry Night casts its spell on fans on the 10th. Get ready for a dazzling return of Elvis Night on the 11th. And then mark your calendars for the ultimate showdown between the Rebel Legion and the Empire on Star Wars Night, hosted by the Mayhem on January 25th.

February

February features a special Rebrand Night unveiling the new team colors and their new name. The Mayhem hop in the Mystery Van with the Scooby Doo gang as they host the Roanoke Rail Dogs on February 22nd. “Ruh-roh, Raggy!” Don’t foget to grab your Scooby Snacks because our furry friends will get in on the action with Pucks-N-Paws that same evening, with fans bringing their furry friends to the game. Zoinks!

March

Get ready to slam-dunk into March with a lineup of six epic home games at The Plex! From Superhero Night to Margaritaville Night, Ice Out Cancer Weekend, and Cherry Blossom Night, get your game face on for a month full of themed fun! And hold onto your seats for the grand entrance of the Mayhem’s inaugural School Day Game on the 20th – an educational extravaganza for students from kindergarten to 8th grade. Argghhh! Don’t forget Pirates and Princesses night on the 14th against Roanoke.

April

The season wraps up in April with Golf Night on the “Fore”-th and Mac’s Birthday Bash, doubling up as Fan Appreciation Night at the Coliseum on April 5th.
