The Macon Mayhem recently announced that forward Brandon Picard has agreed to re-sign for the 2024-25 season.
Originally from Montreal, Quebec, the 26-year-old Picard joined the Mayhem last season following his release from Knoxville. During his time with Macon, Picard scored one goal in eight games. In his first season in the SPHL last year, Picard recorded a total of 11 points, tallying six goals and 5 assists across 26 games for Roanoke, Knoxville, and Macon.
Prior to his SPHL debut, Picard started his professional career with the FPHL’s Port Huron Prowlers, where he accumulated 23 points (13 goals, 10 assists) in 24 games before earning a promotion to the SPHL with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs.
Before transitioning to the professional level, Picard spent two seasons at NCAA D-III Concordia University Wisconsin, where he gathered 27 points (16 goals, 11 assists) in 43 games before transferring to NCAA D-III Castleton University. At Castleton, he added another 22 points (12 goals, 10 assists) in 50 games played.
Picard is set to join teammates Noah Robinson, Josh Boyko, Michael McChesney, Jarret Kup, Tao Ishizuka and Brad Jenion as the Mayhem kick off their season at the Macon Coliseum on October 19th, facing off against the Birmingham Bulls at home.
