The Macon Mayhem recently announced the signing of forward Noah Robinson for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Hailing from Mississauga, Ontario, Robinson started his professional career last season with the Elmira River Sharks (FPHL). He was later traded to the Baton Rouge Zydeco after two games. During his time with Baton Rouge, he impressively accumulated 40 points (22 goals, 18 assists) in 52 games.
In late March, Robinson secured the first goal during the first period by capitalizing on a rebound, outplaying netminder Joseph Sheppard, leading the Zydeco to a 4-2 victory over the Mississippi Sea Wolves. This win for Zydeco marked a three-game winning streak for the team.
Later in the season, Robinson helped Zydeco secure another victory against the Sea Wolves, assisting the Zydeco in leveling the game resulting in a 5-2 victory over Mississippi, thanks to his shot that found its way home.
Prior to his professional hockey career, Robinson first demonstrated his talents during a five-year period at NCAA D-III SUNY-Canton. He achieved 19 points after scoring 10 goals and nine assists in 59 games. Additionally, he was chosen as the 101st overall pick in the 2013 OHL Draft by the Sudbury Wolves, alongside prominent NHL figures like Dylan Strome, Matthew Tkachuk, and Charlie McAvoy.
Robinson will join Josh Boyko, Michael McChesney, Jarret Kup, and Brad Jenion as the Macon Mayhem launch their season at Macon Coliseum on October 19, facing off against the Birmingham Bulls at home.
