Detroit: Marco Kasper (14-21-35)

Kasper last season in 71 games at Grand Rapids recorded 35 points on 14 goals and 21 assists, he was a plus nine. In the playoffs in nine games, he had seven points on four goals and three assists and was a plus one. He played in Wednesday’s game recording an assist and was a plus one in 16:40 of ice time; he also had three shots on goal and a blocked shot.

Pittsburgh: Rutger McGroarty (16-36-52)

McGroarty played last season at Michigan and was impressive, in 36 games he had 52 points on 16 goals and 36 assists, he was a plus 17. In the World Juniors he played in seven games and had nine points on five goals and four assists and he was a plus eight.
