Kevin Stenlund Signs Deal With Florida Panthers

Kevin Stenlund and the Florida Panthers have agreed to terms on a one-year contract. Stenlund, who was a restricted free agent, was not given a qualifying offer by the Winnipeg Jets. Bill Zito and the Florida Panthers are looking for big-depth players, Stenlund fits that bill to a tee.

Stenlund, who is 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, can hit and play the dirty areas as needed. In his 2022-23 campaign, Stenlund split time between the Winnipeg Jets (54 games) and the Manitoba Moose (19 games). Stenlund posted six goals and three assists for nine points in his 54-game campaign with the Winnipeg Jets. Stenlund would post four goals and ten assists for 14 points in 19 games with the Manitoba Moose.

Kevin Stenlund will be an unrestricted free agent when his one-year, $1 million contract expires with the Florida Panthers.
