
The 2025 World Juniors Summer Showcase roster has been announced, featuring two Philadelphia Flyers prospects. Both prospects are forwards as forward Jack Murtagh and Shane Vansaghi have each been named to the roster. Murtagh is a forward playing at Boston University, while Vansaghi played at Michigan State University.

Jack Murtagh
The Philadelphia Flyers drafted Murtagh 40th overall in this past draft. This coming season will be his first at Boston University. He spent this past season in the USHL with the USNTDP Juniors. In 24 games, he had 18 points on seven goals and 11 assists. He was a plus-three with 20 penalty minutes. He also played for the US National U18 team. In 56 games, he had 53 points on 22 goals and 31 assists. He was a +14 with 36 penalty minutes. In seven games for the USA U18 team at the World Juniors, he recorded six points, including two goals and four assists. He was a plus-four with four penalty minutes.
Shane Vansaghi
The Philadelphia Flyers drafted Vansaghi with the 48th overall pick in this past draft. Vansaghi, this past season at Michigan State, played in 37 games. He recorded 16 points on six goals and ten assists. He was a plus-ten with two power-play goals, two game-winning goals, and 30 penalty minutes. It was his first season suiting up for the Spartans. He spent 2023-24 with the United States National Development team playing in a combined 84 games, recording 33 points on 17 goals and 16 assists. He was a plus-two with 72 penalty minutes. In seven games for Team USA in the World Juniors-18, the team recorded an assist. He was a plus-two with two penalty minutes.
