Two Teams Granted Permission to Talk with JT Miller

Things haven’t been going great in Vancouver as they are 4-8-5 in their last 17. They are three points back for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. There has been speculation of tension in the locker room between Elias Pettersson and JT Miller, which has been shut down by both, but the speculation is still there. There have been ongoing discussions about a potential trade of JT Miller. Reportedly, the New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes have been given permission to talk with JT Miller regarding a trade. It was previously reported that Mika Zibanejad was offered to Vancouver for Miller, but the Canucks said no. Now with the Rangers being given permission to discuss it is interesting what the package may look like if they went that route.
