USA Hockey Releases Roster For World Juniors

It’s that time of year as the World Juniors gets set to kick off and countries begin to finalize their rosters. Yesterday, USA Hockey officially announced its final 25-man roster for the 2023 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship.

Among the final cuts that were made, players such as goaltender Tyler Muszelik, defenseman Shai Buium and forwards Ryan Leonard and Jack Devine all saw their opportunities to represent Team USA come to an end.

Below is the 25 players that will represent USA at the tournament:

Defensemen:

Sean Beherens
Seamus Casey
Ryan Chesley
Luke Hughes
Lane Hutson
Luke Mittelstadt
Jack Peart
Ryan Ufko

Gavin Brindley
Tyler Boucher
Kenny Connors
Logan Cooley
Dylan Duke
Cutter Gauthier
Noah Laba
Sam Lipkin
Chaz Lucius
Rutger McGroarty
Red Savage
Jimmy Snuggerud
Charlie Stramel

Team USA will kick off play next week when they play two exhibition games against Finland on December 19th and Sweden on December 21st. They will officially start the tournament on December 26th with a matchup against Latvia.
