USPHL: Hampton Roads Whalers Premier, Elite Season Schedule Updates

The Hampton Roads Whalers Elite and Premier teams kick off their United States Premier Hockey League campaign this weekend. Originally, they were scheduled to face the Columbia Infantry in their home and season opener, but the Infantry unexpectedly folded their Elite and Premier teams. Now, the Whalers will host the Potomac Patriots in the first of back-to-back weekends against their I-95 foes.

Both teams will take part in four showcases; the USPHL Southeast Showcase hosted by the Whalers, the USPHL Atlantic Showcase hosted by the Jersey Hitmen, and two USPHL South Showcases hosted by the Florida Junior Blades and Tampa Bay Juniors.
