Today, the NHL’s newest franchise team, Utah Hockey Club, announced its first preseason schedule, which consists of two home games and five away games.

The Utah Hockey Club will start its inaugural preseason on September 22, 2024, in Des Moines, IA, against the St. Louis Blues. Following that, they’ll break the ice at the Delta Center on Monday, September 23, 2024, against the Los Angeles Kings for their first-ever home game. This will replace a previously scheduled Frozen Fury game between the Kings and Vegas Golden Knights that was planned before the franchise was established in Utah.

For those who have purchased tickets for the Frozen Fury game, refunds will be issued at the original point of purchase, and the preseason game between the Hockey Club and the Kings will be a part of the Utah Hockey Club season ticket membership packages.

Once the game between the Utah Hockey Club and the Los Angeles Kings concludes, the Hockey Club will begin a four-game road trip at T-Mobile Arena on September 27 against the Vegas Golden Knights.

The road trip will continue on September 29 against the Colorado Avalanche at the Ball Arena, then move to the SAP Center on October 1 against the San Jose Sharks, and then conclude at the Honda Center on October 2 against the Anaheim Ducks.

The team will then end their preseason in a second game against the Avalanche in Utah; however, due to a scheduling conflict, the game will take place at the Maverik Center.

The full preseason schedule is as follows:

Game 1: Sunday, Sept. 22 at 7:00 PM EST vs. St. Louis Blues | Wells Fargo Arena, Des Moines, IA

Game 2: Monday, Sept. 23 at 9:00 PM EST vs. Los Angeles Kings | Delta Center, Salt Lake City, UT

Game 3: Friday, Sept. 27 at 10:00 PM EST vs. Vegas Golden Knights | T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV

Game 4: Sunday, Sept. 29 at 7:00 PM EST vs. Colorado Avalanche | Ball Arena, Denver, CO

Game 5: Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 10:00 PM EST vs. San Jose Sharks | SAP Center, San Jose, CA

Game 6: Wednesday, Oct 2 at 10:00 PM EST vs. Anaheim Ducks | Honda Center, Anaheim, CA
