Vladimir Tarasenko Could Be Moved Over Four Nations Break

The Detroit Red Wings in their last game saw their seven-game winning streak snapped. They lost 6-3 to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Despite the loss, they entered the break still in a playoff spot as they held it by one point over the Boston Bruins and Columbus Blue Jackets. The trade deadline is less than a month away and the Red Wings have been linked to some players. On their end, however, Vladimir Tarasenko may be moved and could be moved over the break. Tarasenko signed a two-year contract with the Red Wings on July 3, 2024. There’s been some reports he hasn’t fit in quite the way they expected. Elliotte Friedman did say this morning on 32 Thoughts that Tarasenko does seem like the odd fit on the team. He also does have a no-trade clause, so he can choose where he goes if the Red Wings do move him. One team that may be one to watch for a trade is the Florida Panthers who he won the Stanley Cup last season.
