Lynden Lakovic is a 6-foot-4, 190-pound left-shot left-winger from West Kelowna, British Columbia. The 18-year-old forward spent the last four seasons with the Moose Jaw Warriors and has contributed 47 goals and 57 assists in 155 regular-season games. During the 2024-25 season with the Warriors, Lakovic scored 27 goals and added 31 assists in 47 games played. In the postseason, Lakovic scored nine goals with five assists in 23 games. At the recent Prospects Challenge, Lakovic scored a goal and added an assist in two games for Team CHL.

Some hockey evaluators rank Lynden Lakovic as a mid to late first-round selection as a left wing. The following list will show the scouting ranking for Lynden Lakovic:

Ranked #21 by Inside The Rink
Ranked # 12 by NHL Central Scouting Midterm Rankings
Ranked #25 by Daily Faceoff
Ranked #23 by Sportsnet
Ranked #14 by TSN/Bob McKenzie

Scouting Report:

Lakovic is seen as an intriguing prospect given his size. However, his game does not fit a player at 6-foot-4. The Kelowna, British Columbia native plays with finesse. This combination of size and skill is rare in the NHL. Lakovic has improved his offensive output each year in his three-year QMJHL career.

In an interview with Tony Ferrari of Scouching, Lakovic called himself a winner. Lakovic scored three game-winning goals in overtime and another in regulation with the Moose Jaw Warriors in the QMJHL Championship last season. Despite the Warriors trading away a significant portion of their core, Lakovic was just as effective. In 47 games played during the regular season, Lakovic scored 27 goals and added 31 assists. This is despite him missing a month and a half with a lower-body injury.
