Abbotsford Canucks News & Notes

The Canucks won both games at home to start the series. They improved to 10-3-1, averaging 2.9 goals per game while allowing 1.9 two goals per game. Arturs Silovs got the start in game two stopping all 26 shots he faced. He is posting a 1.61 goals-against average, a .941 save percentage, and five shutouts. Nikita Tolopilo in his lone game allowed two goals on 23 shots.

Texas Stars News & Notes:

The Stars enter game three down 2-0 as they look to climb back into the series. They are now 6-2-2, averaging 3.3 goals per game while allowing 2.3 goals per game. Remi Poirier got the start in game two stopping 28 of the 29 shots he faced. He is posting a 1.89 goals-against average, a .933 save percentage, and a shutout. Magnus Hellberg is posting a 2.85 goals-against average and a .889 save percentage.
