Abbotsford Canucks News & Notes

The Canucks won game four on Wednesday and can advance to the Calder Cup Finals with a win tonight. They improved to 11-4-1, averaging 2.9 goals per game while allowing two goals per game. Arturs Silovs got the start in game four, stopping 27 of the 31 shots he faced. He is posting a 1.93 goals-against average, a .930 save percentage, and five shutouts. Nikita Tolopilo, in his lone game, allowed two goals on 23 shots.

Texas Stars News & Notes:

The Stars dropped a tough one in overtime as they are on the verge of seeing their season come to an end tonight. They are now 7-2-3 in the playoffs, averaging 3.5 goals per game while allowing 2.5 goals per game. Remi Poirier got the start in game four, stopping seven of the 11 shots he faced in two periods. Magnus Hellberg replaced Poirier to start the third stopping 22 of the 23 shots he faced. Poirier is posting a 2.19 goals-against average, a .919 save percentage, and a shutout. Hellberg is posting a 2.57 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage.
