The Firebirds are on the verge of elimination. They are 3-2-0 in the playoffs. Coachella Valley is averaging 2.6 goals per game while also allowing 2.6 goals in the Calder Cup Playoffs. Nikke Kokko is posting a 2.11 goals-against average, a .915 save percentage, and has one shutout in the Playoffs. He stopped 20 of the 22 shots he faced in Wednesday’s loss.

Abbotsford Canucks News & Notes

The Canucks can advance tonight to face the Colorado Eagles with a win. They are 4-1-1 now in the Calder Cup Playoffs. The Canucks are averaging 3.3 goals per game while allowing 2.3 goals per game in the playoffs. Arturs Silovs is posting a 2.07 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage. Nikita Tolopilo appeared in one game in the playoffs, stopping 21 of the 23 shots he faced. Silovs stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced in Wednesday’s win.
