Texas Stars News & Notes:

The Stars look to force a game seven tonight after winning game five 2-1 in overtime. They are now 8-2-3 in the playoffs, averaging 3.4 goals per game while allowing 2.4 goals per game. Magnus Hellberg got the start in gave five stopping 30 of the 31 shots he faced.  Hellberg is posting a 2.21 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage. Remi Poirier is posting a 2.19 goals-against average, a .919 save percentage, and a shutout.

Abbotsford Canucks News & Notes:

The Canucks look to end the series tonight on home ice. They dropped to 11-4-2, averaging 2.8 goals per game while allowing 2.2 goals per game. Arturs Silovs got the start in game five, stopping 23 of the 25 shots he faced. He is posting a 1.93 goals-against average, a .929 save percentage, and five shutouts. Nikita Tolopilo, in his lone game, allowed two goals on 23 shots.
