Boneyard Buzz: Logan Drevitch Re-Signed to Savannah

This inaugural season for the Savannah Ghost Pirates was, without a doubt, one for the books, and one of the players who helped make it rock was Logan Drevitch. He was always one of the guys who would get knocked down or hit hard, and he’d get right up and be right back in it within seconds. The 25-year-old came to the Savannah Ghost Pirates after finishing up his time playing for Merrimack College.

Logan spent a total of four seasons playing for Merrimack College and wore the “A” on his sweater during his fourth and last year on the team. He was on the ice for 124 games playing for Merrimack, scoring a total of 19 goals for them and assisting 30 of them. He also racked up a total of 79 penalty minutes in the whole span of the four years he spent with them.

He played the full 2022–23 season with the Ghost Pirates. While every member of the new team had a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impression in a place where hockey is a completely new sport, Drevitch was able to make one particularly strong impact. He will undoubtedly return and bring the same Drevy energy to his loyal supporters for the second season.

This season, Logan played 69 total games with the Ghost Pirates, and he managed to score 13 goals and assist 24, giving him a grand total of 37 points. Of his 13 goals, two were game-winning goals, two were first goals, and three were on the power play. Eight of his 24 assists were during a power play, showing that he finished the season with 11 total points picked up during power plays.

Logan Drevitch is a very strong forward, as well as a strong player in general. He has been and will continue to be an incredible asset to the Ghost Pirates going into this new season. I’m very curious to see where this season will take him, but I know he is going to have one amazing season.
