The Canadiens have lost three in a row, including a 6-5 loss to Vegas after leading on three occasions. Montreal has struggled offensively, scoring 2.8 goals per game.

The Canadiens edged out the Bruins last time they met in overtime, 3-2 last Saturday. The Bruins held a 1-0 lead over Montreal until the third period, when they would fall behind 2-1 until Brad Marchand tied things up. But Kaiden Guhle ultimately got the extra point for the Canadiens and handed the Bruins an OT loss.
