Bruins Sign Former Third Rounder to Entry-Level Deal

Boston Bruins’ fans have been waiting for the potential signings of Patrice Bergeron, David Krejci, and newly-acquired Pavel Zacha. In the meantime, the team has been signing depth pieces and top prospects, and on Monday, the club announced the signing of former 2021 third-round draft pick Brett Harrison to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The annual cap hit is $859,167 for Harrison, who was the 85th overall pick in ‘21. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound forward played last season for the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League and had 27 goals and 34 assists. The left-shot center participated in the Bruins’ rookie development camp in July.

The London, Ontario native scored 21 goals with 16 assists for Oshawa in 2019-20. Harrison will likely return to Oshawa before joining the Providence Bruins the following season.
