The Checkers evened the series up with an overtime win in game two on Sunday night. They improved to 11-2-1 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging 3.6 goals per game while allowing 1.9 goals per game. Kaapo Kahkonen stopped 11 of the 13 shots he faced in game two. He is posting a 1.84 goals-against average, a .918 save percentage, and a shutout. 

Abbotsford Canucks News & Notes:

The Canucks return home with the series tied at a game apiece. They are 13-4-3 in the playoffs, averaging 2.9 goals per game while allowing 2.3 goals per game. Arturs Silovs stopped 39 of the 42 shots he faced in game two. He is posting a 1.99 goals-against average, a .930 save percentage, and five shutouts. Nikita Tolopilo, in his lone game, allowed two goals on 23 shots.
