The Checkers, despite scoring first game up five goals in the third in game three, and now trail in the series 2-1. They dropped to 11-3-1 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging 3.5 goals per game while allowing 2.2 goals per game. Kaapo Kahkonen stopped 23 of the 28 shots he faced in game three. He is posting a 2.04 goals-against average, a .911 save percentage, and a shutout. 

Abbotsford Canucks News & Notes:

The Canucks offense exploded for six unanswered goals between the final 34 minutes of game three to take a 2-1 series lead. They improved to 14-4-3 in the playoffs, averaging three goals per game while allowing 2.2 goals per game. Arturs Silovs stopped 28 of the 29 shots he faced in game three. He is posting a 1.94 goals-against average, a .932 save percentage, and five shutouts. Nikita Tolopilo, in his lone game, allowed two goals on 23 shots.
