Charlotte Checkers News & Notes:

The Checkers have been cooled off after riding an eight-game winning streak into the finals, and they could have their season come to an end tonight.  They dropped to 11-4-1 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging 3.4 goals per game while allowing 2.3 goals per game. Kaapo Kahkonen stopped 20 of the 23 shots he faced in game four. He is posting a 2.11 goals-against average, a .908 save percentage, and a shutout. 

Abbotsford Canucks News & Notes:

The Canucks can win their first ever Calder Cup tonight with a win as they lead the series 3-1. They improved to 15-4-3 in the playoffs, averaging three goals per game while allowing 2.2 goals per game. Arturs Silovs stopped 32 of the 34 shots he faced in game four. He is posting a 1.94 goals-against average, a .933 save percentage, and five shutouts. Nikita Tolopilo, in his lone game, allowed two goals on 23 shots.
