The Canucks despite losing game five still have a chance to win their first ever Calder Cup tonight. They dropped to 15-4-4 in the playoffs, averaging three goals per game while allowing 2.3 goals per game. Arturs Silovs stopped 36 of the 40 shots he faced in game five. He is posting a 2.01 goals-against average, a .931 save percentage, and five shutouts. Nikita Tolopilo, in his lone game, allowed two goals on 23 shots.

Charlotte Checkers News & Notes:

The Checkers return to home ice looking to force a winner-take-all game seven. They improved to 12-4-1 in the Calder Cup playoffs, averaging 3.4 goals per game while allowing 2.3 goals per game. Kaapo Kahkonen stopped 29 of the 32 shots he faced in game five. He is posting a 2.13 goals-against average, a .908 save percentage, and a shutout.
