Calgary Hitmen Hire Dakota Krebs As Video Coach

The Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League announced they added Dakota Krebs to their coaching staff as video coach. Krebs spent two seasons with the Hitmen to end his major junior hockey career from 2018 to 2020. In 127 regular season games with the Hitmen, Krebs posted 11 goals and 39 assists while being a plus-46 player.

After his major junior hockey career, Krebs attended the Univesity of Calgary where he entered the Haskayne School of Business. Krebs played three seasons with the Dinos, playing in 71 games and tallied 21 assists and 26 points. He helped the Dinos win the 2022-2023 USports West Championship. Krebs signed an Amateur Tryout Contract contract with the Norfolk Admirals on March 22, 2024. He appeared in 10 games with the Admirals, five during the regular season and five in the playoffs. Krebs notched three assists and a plus-two in those 10 games played.
